A tanka for tokers

Happy 420 Day to those who celebrate. I’m not one of the celebrators but, should that ever change, I’m glad it’s legal in Illinois. Here’s a tanka I just wrote to commemorate this special day.

recreational 
marijuana is legal 
in the prairie state
it grows in our fertile fields
cultivated by state law
